Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account info: your email address and, if you set one, a password (stored hashed by our authentication provider — we never see it).
• Yard photos and design details you upload or type (descriptions, style choices, ZIP code, budget range, plant wishes).
• AI results we generate for you: redesign images, plant lists, material estimates, and similar outputs.
• Quote requests: when you ask for quotes we collect your ZIP, city, budget range, notes, and the phone number you choose to share.
• Purchases: what you bought and when. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never receive your full card number.
• Contractor accounts: company name, contact details, service area, and business profile information you provide.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and request logs used for security, abuse prevention (for example rate limits), and troubleshooting.

How we use it

• To create your designs and deliver what you purchased.
• To send your quote request to DreamScapes Partners who serve your area, when you ask us to.
• To run your account, send sign-in and password-reset emails, and provide support.
• To keep the service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix problems.
• To improve our prompts and design quality. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

• DreamScapes Partners — only when you request quotes. Partners see your project details and design; your email and phone are shared with a Partner once they respond to your request.
• Service providers that run the service for us: Supabase (database, sign-in, file storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), fal.ai (AI image generation), and Resend (email). They may only use your data to provide their services to us.
• Public community gallery — only if you choose "Post to community." We publish the AI redesign image and caption you share, not your original yard photo or your contact details.
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our users, Partners, or DreamScapes.

Your photos

Uploaded yard photos and your generated designs are stored in private storage. They are shown to you through short-lived, expiring links, and to a Partner only as part of a quote request you submit. Photos are sent to our AI provider to generate your design. See our AI Disclosure.

Your choices

• You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your account data and uploads.
• You can remove a community post by contacting us.
• You can opt out of non-essential emails using the link in those emails.

Children

DreamScapes is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, private storage, and rate limits. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by Tennessee law.
