DreamScapes uses artificial intelligence to create yard-design images and related suggestions. Here is what that means for you.
What is AI-generated
- Redesign images, extra camera angles, planting-plan views, and fly-through videos.
- Plant lists and material take-off estimates (these combine AI output and rule-based estimates).
- Before-and-after examples and community posts show AI-generated "after" images.
- The Design Desk chat on this site is an AI assistant, not a person, and those conversations may be stored to run the chat.
Concepts, not plans
- AI images can be inaccurate: scale, grading, drainage, property lines, utilities, and plant sizes may not match reality.
- Plant suggestions may not suit your exact soil, sun, or hardiness zone. Check with a local nursery or extension office.
- Material quantities and any costs are rough estimates. Get a written quote from a licensed contractor.
- Always call Tennessee 811 before digging.
How your photo is processed
To generate a design, your yard photo and description are sent to our AI provider (fal.ai, which runs the image models). They process it to return the result to us. Your original photo and results are then kept in DreamScapes private storage.
Human review
Designs are generated automatically. DreamScapes staff may review ratings and a small number of results to improve prompts and quality. Contractors see your design only when you request quotes.
